PRISM Software features

1. Proactive risk alerts

Prism actively monitors and assesses the risk status for a location, unit or company. When the system identifies a rise or decline in the level of risk, all relevant management are immediately and automatically notified.

2. Every single member of your organisation is involved.

Prism's license agreements are based on number of aircraft operated (not the number of people using the software), and we assist the customer with the process of getting every member of staff logged onto the system. Were individual user licenses are sold, a great deal of useful information would be lost as generally only one person within the organisation is entering data or even knows that the company has a safety management system.

For example, we currently have an African client with only 4 aircraft but with over 200 staff members who can independently enter a report.

3. Risk assessment matrix and 'Risk Adjuster'.

PRISM guides a customer/company/custodian through the risk assessment process for every report entered into the system. All they have to do is enter the parameters of what happened under 5 headings and PRISM will take care of the rest. Based on an initial risk assessment, previous occurrences and the time span involved, PRISM will calculate present risk for a location, unit or the whole company.

4. Integrated e-mail system.

Your Company risk assessment is continually monitored 24 hours a day and in the event that any risk starts to rise in your Company, Managerial staff are immediately notified automatically.

Every user in the system is identified by user name, password and e-mail address. Should a risk assessment change, relevant personnel will be notified by e-mail. Should a change be made to an audit or a corrective action request (CAR) be raised, relevant personnel will be notified by e-mail. If a CAR is changed, becoming due or is overdue, an e-mail will alert the relevant personnel.

E-mail notification is automatic if Management staff are required to take action on an issue within the system

5. Formalising of data and information

Input can be from meeting agendas and minutes to complex audit reports, safety suggestions to full-blown accident reports. Where the competition offer modules for the separate items (audit, flight crew report, ground staff report, cabin crew report etc.). PRISM offers everything in one package.

6. Reporting

The entire process of report handling is automated with minimal input from anyone other than Management staff who will be required to take relevant corrective action when appropriate.

The system has a tested confidential reporting system that ensures you are made aware of issues that may otherwise go unreported

Regardless of how many bases you have and where they are in the world, you will never suffer from lost reports

Reports entered into the system from those bases will be instantly available to all Management wherever they are globally

7. Global access

Management have total access to the system globally as long as they have an internet connection ensuring that they are all kept fully up to date

8. Trend analysis tool

The trend analysis tool built into the system has been proved to have saved significant cost through the identification of engine trends that would otherwise have gone un-noticed. This saved the operator concerned some extremely high and unnecessary cost in reduced engine life.

9. Process

Through the Bow-Tie Hazardous Events Management Process built into the software, you will be able to demonstrate to regulators and customer auditors that you are managing the hazards facing your Company to an accepted level of risk
